We have classes for young children (ages 6+), through adults!
We offer training in Classical Ballet, Modern Dance, Contemporary Movement, Jazz, Character/Folk, & other dance forms, as well as Performing Opportunities!

We will be developing an academic/home-school program, and offering private & semi-private professional-aspirant training, as well as BioTech performance-enhancement, injury-prevention for dancers & athletes, and coaching for YAGP.

Our teachers became professional dancers because they loved the Art of Dance, and now they share that love with every student, regardless of whether that student loves it enough to dream of having a career, or just wants a chance to have fun and perform in front of their family and friends!

Southern Arizona Centre for the Arts Ballet Training Program is taught by career-professionals! So, You can Build your Dream by learning from people who lived their dreams! Our ballet masters Karina Sturdevant & Jonathon Levy have more than 35+ years of combined professional performing experience dancing with professional companies across the USA, and Internationally in Mexico, Canada, Israel, & Denmark.
Its only a dream, until you start doing it!
Karina & Jonathon are experienced teachers with successful students that have danced professionally at these professional organization's: Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Saint Louis Ballet, Southern Ballet Theatre, Ballet Arizona, Bat Sheva Dance Company, Thodos Dance Chicago, Leipzig Opera Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, at Radio City Music Hall, & live on NBC's Today Show; including many other regional dance & performing arts organizations.
The foundational-training students acquire from Jonathon & Karina's instruction often results in scholarship-consideration for summer-intensives, upper-level admission to college degree programs, and acceptance to year-round professional-oriented career-development programs, such as: The National Ballet School of Canada, The John Cranko School in Germany, The Royal Welsh College of the Performing Arts in the UK; Cincinnati University's Conservatory of Music & Dance, Alonso King's LINES Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Bossov Ballet at Maine Central Institute, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, scholarship-apprentice programs at Ballet West, Ballet Arizona, Ballet Met-Columbus, Oklahoma City Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, and dance programs at the Universities of Iowa, Oklahoma, Western Michigan, Northern Illinois, Utah, Oklahoma City College, Barat College, North Central College, and Broadway Dance Center's Professional Program in New York City.

Enthusiast Level Dance Classes
For those interested, enthusiastic, curious, willing, able, and ready to follow basic classroom instructions in the Art of Dance. This level allows a kid to be a kid, while preparing them to make informed decisions about performing opportunities, such as The Nutcracker, and/or the nature of training in the Aspirant Level Program. Focused-general beginning through intermediate training for youth (ages 6+) through young adults.
Single Class - 90mins/60mins
Rate for a drop-in class or any single class participation, regardless of level, per week.
60-min class is $20
90-min class is $25
or:
- Four 90-min classes per month: $100.
- Four 60-min classes per month: $80

Multiple-Class Rates # per week each Month.
Two 60-min classes per week: $ 140
Ten 60-minute classes/month: $160
Three 60-min classes per week: $ 190
Two 90-min classes per week: $160
Ten 90-minute classes/month: $180
Three 90-min classes per week: $210
To use PayPal, there is a Fee of 2.5% +.30¢ per transaction for all Tuition Payments.
If you wish to avoid this credit card fee, then please pay the tuition in-person with a check or cash. Checks are payable to Southern Arizona Centre for the Arts.
Men's Technique & Work-Scholarships for Students
Men/Boy's Class Tuition is based upon family/individual financial ability, please enroll, then call us or use the contact form to request more information.
Work Scholarships are designed to enable students to participate, please call to discuss your situation.

Aspirant Level Training Program
This is a professionally-oriented training program for students age 9 and up. Participates become aware of professional standards. Develop their aptitude, commitment, & willingness to train-to-succeed at professional-oriented levels. Adherence to quality-training by accepting & implementing correction to ensure continued artistic growth & the improvement of technique. Discipline, determination, perseverance, & the will-to-aspire beyond competitive/college level toward professional-career goals!
Level I {generally ages 9 to 11}
Ballet, character, jazz, & pantomime with dance history (Other forms of dance classes may be added as needed) [Approximately 3 to 4 classes per week.]

Level II {generally ages 10 to 13}
Ballet, beginning pointe or men's technique; character, contemporary & modern, dance history & mime, performing opportunies. (Other forms of dance may be added as needed) [Approximately 6 to 7 classes per week]
The Schedule & Tuition for classes might vary from this information depending upon location.
Level III {generally ages 14+}
Ballet, pointe or men's technique including pas de deux; character, contemporary & modern, variations, dance history, mime & stage-acting, performing opportunities. (Other forms of dance may be added as needed) [Approximately 8 to 12 classes per week]
