The William D. Sturdevant Memorial Art Lyceum is part of Raccoon Valley Centre for the Arts, created as a subsidiary to maintain and promote the artwork of the virtually unknown Iowa-born Artist:

We have a limited number of Original Artist Proof Aquatint Prints (that were Signed & Numbered by the Artist). In addition, we are going to release Posthumous 1st-Run Print Artist Proof Collectables of the Artist's Copper-Etched Plates that were never printed during his lifetime. Raccoon Valley Centre for the Arts was formed in 2015 by Jonathon & Karina Levy. It is dedicated to enhancing the Arts in communities of Iowa's Raccoon River Valley and the Greater Des Monies Metro-Area by providing educational, and experiential opportunities for everyone to appreciate, learn from, and become involved with All that is Art!
Raccoon Valley Centre for the Arts has offered Central Iowa an array of artistic ventures, from Fine Art exhibits at La Poste, in Perry, and at Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines. RVCA collaborated with DMARC providing Culinary Arts instructional recipes to its community food-pantry newsletters. Currently RVCA has an ongoing exhibit of aquatint prints, oil paintings, and sculptures at Forest Park Museum in Perry, IA.
We look forward to planning & presenting more Artistic events, programs, classes, & performances in the the Des Moines area.

Southern Arizona Centre for the Arts is officially affiliated with Raccoon Valley Centre for the Arts, and operates in the State of Arizona as a fully 501(C)(3) Tax-Exempt Entity according to IRS Code. Our founders incorporated Raccoon Valley Centre for the Arts in Iowa, and then established Southern Arizona Centre for the Arts in Arizona, in accord with the IRS Code as symbiotic-entities with Federal Tax-Exempt 501(C)(3) Non-Profit Status. Both organizations utilize the tax-identification number registered with the IRS as a Public Charity. Therefore, All donations are Tax-Deductible according to IRS Federal & State Tax codes.

This small selection of work is a part of Raccoon Valley Centre for the Arts collection known as 'The Willam D. Sturdevant Memorial Art Lyceum,' which represents the life's work of the artist and until this exhibit had not been viewed in public for over fifty-years!

In March of 2019, the Levy's decided to maintain Raccoon Valley Centre for the Arts in Des Moines, Iowa, and began developing operations in Tucson, AZ. by establishing Southern Arizona Centre for the Arts. In accord with IRS Federal Tax-Exempt codes they have established SAzCA as a symbiotic organization by utilizing their original Arts organization Raccoon Valley Centre for the Arts as a template. Therefore, RVCA with its business office in Urbandale/Des Moines Metro, Iowa maintains an Art Exhibit of select-works from its Art collection of the late Iowa-native-born master artist: William D. Sturdevant (Iowa's Forgotten Artist) at the Forest Park Museum in Perry, Iowa, with plans for seasonal-events in the Des Moines Metro Area.
Now, Southern Arizona Centre for the Arts is developing Dance training & Arts programming in the Tucson Metro Area!
